Profile

I am a Christian mom who started blogging a few years ago to share my heart and my faith. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and we have a teenage boy and girl.  We recently started the adventure of homeschooling, which I love despite the challenges!

Currently, I work part-time outside the home and am in school online to complete my bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  I went back to college to complete my degree shortly after getting laid off from my full-time job.  Since then, our thoughts have turned to me being at home full-time, but  our budget doesn’t accommodate us on that point yet.  In a perfect world, this blogging-thing will really take off and help fill in the budget gaps so that I can be home full-time while are kids are home.

To make things even more interesting, my husband works full time, and is also in school full-time, so our schedules are very full and never dull!  Through all of this, we serve the Lord in our church in the children’s ministry.  God has richly blessed us in so many ways, and I hope to be able to share our love for Him through this blog.

You can also find me contributing at www.youronetree.com.  This is a wonderful group of women who have come together to share their hearts about their relationship with God and striving for a closer walk with Him.  I am honored to be counted in their midst.
